GLENSHIRE:  Glenshire is a 10-minute drive East of Truckee.  Glenshire is comprised of about 85% full time residents.  One to five acre parcels are available and are zoned for horses (1 horse per 1/2 acre).  There is a Homeowners’ Association, which costs $175.00 annually.  Amenities include a swimming pool, clubhouse, tennis courts and riding trails.  Glenshire is a developed area and is on sewer.  Some properties carry a sewer bond paid through property taxes.


JUNIPER HILLS/JUNIPER CREEK:  These areas are on the outskirts of Glenshire.  Each area has a minimum of 10-acre parcels.  Custom homes are built in these areas.  These areas are on hard pack and gravel roads, but assessable in the winter.  The roads are plowed.  These areas are on septic systems and well water.  If you like a remote feeling, but want to be close to Truckee, this is a perfect spot.


THE MEADOWS:  This subdivision is adjacent to Glenshire and consists of minimum 5-acre parcels.  Custom homes are built in this area.  This area has underground utilities and the properties are on sewer.  Those folks with horses find this area particularly attractive.  This is a gated community and has homeowner fees of $600.00 annually.  There are no community amenities.
